Position Title: Senior IT Consultant

Job Type: Full-Time

Description & Responsibilities:

  6. Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft desktop operating systems and applications.
  7. Experience installing and supporting Microsoft Server operating systems.
  8. Experience installing and supporting different levels of Microsoft Exchange.
  9. Experience with installation and configuration of Domains, Active Directory and Group Policies.
  10. Experience in remote help desk support and monitoring tools
  11. Experience with managing and troubleshooting network firewalls, routers and switches.
  12. Experience supporting Hosted and Open Source VOIP Solutions and VOIP phone systems
  13. Experience in VMWare or MS Hyper-V
  14. Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, * Experience with Firewall rules, VPN, and security knowledge
  15. Network design experience
  16. Excellent troubleshooting skills
  17. Ability to document all customer interactions in a ticketing system
  18. Reliable transportation
  19. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  20. Highly motivated with a desire to succeed
  21. Ability to work well under pressure
  22. Deliver excellent customer service via the telephone and email
  23. Organized so that all deadlines are met
  24. Project management
  25. Must pass drug screen and background check
  26. This position does require flexibility of schedule to include periodic weekend and evening hours to complete projects for customers. This position also requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50lbs

Minimum Qualification:

  1. At least 3 years of IT related work experience
  2. Minimum 2-year degree (4 year preferred) in Information Technology, or work experience
  3. Proven competence by experience and recommendation
  4. Applicant should have A+ Certification
  5. Must have valid driver’s license
  6. Must be able to lift 50lbs
  7. Must be able to pass drug screen and background check

Hours of work: 40h / week minimum

Hourly wage: Based on experience
